It’s been several months since we’ve had an update – we actually haven’t had any kittens since May, so we’ve used the kitten room to keep one of our own cats in as she gets over some behavioral issues.

Anyway, I wanted to update with this cute video put together by BigCatRescue.com on what happens with big cats get a big bag of catnip!

Last night we went to pick up two male adult cats to foster for a bit. They’ve been shuffled from foster home to foster home since they were kittens (they’re about a year old now) and needed another stop until their next temporary home. We’re only signed on for kittens but have no problem helping out with the adult cats when they need us to.

Jinx is smaller and wears a blue collar, and Jasper is a bit bigger and wears a green collar. Make sure you check them out on the cam located on the main page of The Kitten Room!

Yesterday the kittens went into their first adoption event since their rescue in March. Reno, Winnie and Ruby were all adopted and Carson and Fern are with us for another week.

Since there are fewer kitties in the room you may not see as much kitten action on cam as we did previously, but they do still make frequent appearances (especially since I swapped out the food and litter stations), so make sure you bookmark and/or check-out the main page for the streaming webcam! http://thekittenroom.com/

The cam caught all five kittens just managing to squeeze into one little cat bed. Winnie was the late-comer and was able to oust Fern from her warm spot after a minute.

Well now we have to get an iPad. (note: this is not our video, lol)

The Kitten Room has undergone a bit of renovation today! We figured that since the kittens were in getting “fixed” that it was time for their webpage to get a little TLC as well.

The cam will be back online for a little bit this evening when we pick them up from the vet.
